Fondazione Internazionale Menarini

The “Fondazione Internazionale Menarini” was founded in 1976 with a misson to promote knowledge in biology, pharmacology and medicine, as well as in economy and human sciences, among health care professionals around the world. Its unique wide-spectrum approach to important health issues provides a crystal-clear perspective of key scientific topics for their examination not only professionally but also practically.

One of the main instruments the Foundation uses to achieve this goal is through the organisation of international congresses in collaboration with academia and local hospitals, with a specific focus on medical disciplines. For over 40 years it has been highly valued by the international medical community for providing top quality training and education to professionals through scientific exchange and experience sharing.

During the course of its activities, the Foundation has organised over 300 international conferences addressing particularly innovative medical and biological topics of specific interest for the medical world in terms of widespread scientific implications and repercussions of a practical nature.

Some of the Foundation’s initiatives include:

  • Cardiovascular Symposium – State of the Art of Cardiovascular Disease in Latin America held in Peru in June 2019;
  • Roadmap in Acute Pain in Guatemala in October 2018;
  • Advances in Haematology in Africa in Tanzania in August 2018;
  • Update in Echocardiology for the Practitioner in Kenya in July 2018.

The opportunity for the medical community to expand its knowledge is not just limited to congress attendance, as the videos and abstracts from the various scientific symposia can be accessed through the Foundation’s website or its mobile app.
