GSPOA

In 2006, the Commission on Intellectual Property Rights, Innovation and Public Health completed its report and the Member States of the World Health Organization implemented the main recommendation by establishing an intergovernmental working group to draft a global strategy and plan of action on public health.

GISRS

GISRS is a unique worldwide WHO network able to rapidly identify and respond to influenza outbreaks including those with pandemic potential. Established in 1952, GISRS currently comprises 142 National Influenza Centers, 6 WHO Collaborating Centers, 4 WHO Essential Regulatory Laboratories and 13 WHO H5 Reference Laboratories.

GISAID

This initiative involves PPPs between the nonprofit organization Freunde von GISAID e.V. and governments of the Federal Republic of Germany (the official host of the GISAID EpiFlu™ database), Singapore and the USA. GISAID provides public access to the most complete collection of genetic sequence data of influenza viruses and related clinical and epidemiological data, and is widely credited for successfully enabling the rapid sharing of influenza virus data through a unique sharing mechanism that was recognized for its importance to global health by all G20 health ministers in 2017.

GCM

The scope and purpose of the The WHO Global Coordination Mechanism on prevention and control of NCDs (GCM/NCD) is to enhance the coordination of activities, multi-stakeholder engagement and action across sectors in order to contribute to the implementation of the WHO Global NCD Action Plan 2013–2020.

GARD

GARD is a voluntary alliance of national and international organizations, institutions, and agencies commited towards the common goal to reduce the global burden of respiratory diseases.
